This Is Why We Fight To Know Thyself!
Minority children start poor, stay poor. Not only do they stay this way, these children will encounter a number of other problems like low self-esteem and confidence as they internalize a perception of themselves as less desirable and capable aspect of American society. Their self-esteem and confidence is being compromised very early in life as a result of their economic status. If generations of our community are constantly being born into this type of environment, the cycle of poverty, crime, mis-education, and all the things that this country once stood for will always be compromised.
