The Canadian Border Will Remain Closed Into 2021

I really was holding out hope that we'd be able to cross the international border and visit our friends in Canada this year. But, alas, I was wrong.

WKBW is reporting on a recent announcement made by the Canadian Prime Minister extending the border closure into 2021.

In a tweet, Justin Trudeau effectively dashed all of the hopes and dreams I had about runnin' through the 6 with my woes on New Year's Eve.

I totally get it though, we have not been able to bring COVID numbers under control in the United States, and crossing the border to hang with all of the beautiful ladies in the GTA is just not considered essential travel.

Even though non-essential travel continues to be restricted, essential travel like medical, commercial business and trade are still allowed under certain circumstances.

I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait until the border opens back up. I truly miss runnin’ thru the 6 with my woes.
