Residents at the Monsignor Geary apartments, located at 1250 Bailey Avenue say that the first floor has no heat, but their concerns have been ignored for months, according to WIVB. They say that they have made the property manager aware of the issue, but nothing has been done about it. Monsignor is run by the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority. Sharon Harris, who is a resident at the apartments told Channel 4 that it's so cold on the first floor, residents have to wear winter clothing, indoors!

“We used to come down here often, and be in the mornings and have a coffee, we can’t do that either, it’s too cold. We would come down here to play games, we can’t do that either it’s too cold. And this is not the first year this has been going on. This has been going on for a few years.”

She said that management has told residents that a work order needs to be completed in order to make the repairs, but Harris says that she has personally filled out multiple orders.
