Grammy-nominated singer Tank is moving up in the music world. He recently partnered with New York City-based music company CMG Entertainment to create the new label Soundbase Entertainment. Tank will serve as president of the label.

“I am excited to partner with CMG to develop projects on these new artists,” Tank revealed to AllHipHop.com in a statement. “We are beginning with artists that are extremely talented and I look forward to their success.”

The singer has already signed two artists to the imprint including rapper M$G and the lady spitta Siya.

“This partnership marks a new chapter for CMG Entertainment” says CMG Entertainment CEO Cisco Rosado. “We are very happy to partner with Tank and we look forward to successful launches with our artists.”

No official release date has been set for the new artists' albums yet. We congratulate Tank on his bold move.
