NYS Troopers

This weekend is part of the 100 Days of Summer where local police and New York State Troopers will be out with extra DWI checkpoints and patrols.

The campaign for Memorial Day weekend kicks off this morning and goes until Monday, May 27th. During these four days, New York State Troopers and other local police departments will have more than normal amounts of patrols out on the roads.

The long Fourth of July weekend is upon us and besides seeing a lot more fireworks this weekend you will see a lot more New York State troopers on the roads.

Officials expect that all state police officers should have their cameras by the end of the year
