Summer Jobs for Youth at Northland Workforce Training Center
Northland Workforce Training Center is partner with Mayor Byron Brown's Summer Youth Program to offer employment to young folks in Buffalo.
NWTC is giving juniors and seniors from Buffalo Public Schools a fully paid, six week on-th-job learning experience. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in high-tech careers in advanced manufacturing and energy. Students will be paid $11.80 per hour and will be provided with an NFTA Summer Bus Pass. Youth can apply at www.northlandwtc.org.
The program will take place from July 6 to August 13, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Northland Workforce Training Center is located at 683 Northland Ave. in Buffalo. The program will benefit participants by giving them hands-on experience, as well as career counseling, OSHA 10 Certification and help with completing college applications.
