Someone Released Bedbugs in a Walmart in Erie
Someone intentionally released bedbugs in an Erie, Pennsylvania Walmart.
Someone released the insects in a men's changing room, as well as putting them in a boy's jacket, which was for sale, according to CNN. The bedbugs in the boy's jacket were found in a closed pill bottle. The bugs in the men's changing room were also in a pill bottle. There were also bugs crawling around in the men's changing room, according to FOX66 YourErie.
"A third-party pest management service has visited the store and we are working with them to assess next steps. In the meantime, we have blocked off the impacted area." ~ Walmart
Pennsylvania State Police are investigating and looking for the person or people responsible.
Health safety company Ecolab, a third party company, confirmed that the insects were in-fact bedbugs. An employee of the company said that the bedbugs were crawling around in the men's dressing rooms.
