Hennessy's Unfinished Business initiative helps businesses who have been negatively affected by COVID-19. This initiative is designed to help African-American, Latin X, and Asian-owned businesses. Hennessy teamed up with One Hundred Black Men, Asian American Business Development Center, and the Hispanic Federation to choose the recipients of the grants. I've talked to many small business owners here in Buffalo, whose businesses have been hard hit by COVID-19. The new round of restrictions we are under now, being in a yellow zone, has definitely affected small businesses here. We may even be upgraded to an orange zone, which would make it even worse for already-struggling businesses.

If you are in need and want to apply, you have until Monday, November 23, 2020. You can apply and get more information on its website.

Hennessy says the program is all about helping small business owners and our community,

"Hennessy is launching Unfinished Business, a new program that will provide urgent funding and access to vital resources for the small business owners who bind our communities together."

Hopefully, we see some businesses here in Buffalo get a grant from Hennessy.
