Sign Your Child Up for the Summer Smart STEM Challenge

Jerry Hughes, who is currently a Buffalo Bills defensive end, and former Bills player Lorenzo Alexander will issue STEM video challenges each week.  Get your child signed up for free.

The Summer Smart STEM Challenge starts Monday, July 20.  Each week Jerry Hughes and Lorenzo Alexander will issue STEM challenges to participants.  The young folks will have a chance to win some great prizes by participating in the challenges.  Parents, siblings and even pets can help students by participating in their video and photo challenge submissions. Students must be in 4th through 8th grade and have a parent or guardian's permission to participate.

Week 1: Simple Machines

Week 2: Musical STEM Breakdown

Week 3: Touch Down Dance

Week 4: Backyard Scavenger Hunt

Week 5: The Science of Food Reaction – focusing on Candy!

The videos by Jerry Hughes and Lorenzo Alexander will be released each Monday.  Students can work on their submissions all week, up until 2 pm.  A panel of judges will review each submission.
