The Buffalo Police Department has named a suspect in the brutal killing of a man outside of a gas station in the Delavan-Grider neighborhood. Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced yesterday, December 8, 2021, that 27-year-old Daiquin Gray has been charged in the deadly incident. Gray was indicted before Erie County Court Judge Sheila A. DiTullio on the following charges,

One count of Murder in the First Degree (Class “A-I” felony)
One count of Murder in the Second Degree (Class “A-I” felony)

On April 24, 2021, just after 6 pm, Gray and another suspect allegedly attacked the victim from behind while he was pumping gas at a gas station on East Delavan Avenue and Grider Street in Buffalo. The two suspects were attempting to rob the victim. Gray is accused of firing multiple shots at the victim, 38-year-old Marcques Robinson of Buffalo, who ultimately died from his wounds. The victim tried to run away from Gray and the other suspect but fell down. Gray allegedly stole the victim's gold chain as he lay on the ground dying. Gray is being held without bail. If he is convicted on all of the charges against him, he will receive a life sentence without the possibility of parole.

Two Suspects Charged in Deadly Shooting of Buffalo Father on Johnson Street

Detectives with Buffalo Police Department's homicide division recently named two other suspects in a different deadly shooting in the city. Two suspects in the murder of a father in Buffalo, 29-year-old Marcus Spain, have been indicted on charges related to the deadly shooting. Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced on, December 7, 2021, that 31-year-old Cortez Foster and 22-year-old Naudia Marvin were arraigned before Erie County Court Judge Sheila A. DiTullio. On December 6, the pair was indicted on charges of,

One count of Murder in the Second Degree (Class “A-I” felony)
One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felony)

On March 14, 2021, just after 4:31 am, the defendants allegedly persuaded Spain to go to the 200 block of Johnson Street in Buffalo. Once they had lured him to the location, the pair, working together, shot and killed him with an illegal gun while he was sitting in his vehicle. Spain was transported to Erie County Medical Center where he died.

Both suspects are being held without bail. They are each facing 25 years to life behind bars if they are convicted on all of the charges they are facing. No court date has been set as of yet.
