Riff Raff Brings His ‘UVP Tour’ to Buffalo
Hip hop was on full display this weekend in Buffalo with a bunch of events and shows happening all weekend long.
Houston rapper and MTV Reality TV Star Riff Raff drove into Buffalo on the last leg of his Ultraviolet Pirate Tour, wrapping up a concert series that has covered more than 30 cities. The show, which was produced by DJ Dovey and held during a Sunday Funday event at the Rec Room in downtown Buffalo, has a number of opening acts, some of who are on tour with Riff Raff and others who are based right here in the Queen City of New York State.
Doors to the show, which had a total of 7 artists bless the stage, opened at 6 pm and things got started off local artists Kid SPARXX, Mindset, Dom Brown, and Busy B Love.
Once the local opening acts were finished, Big Lotion and Brooklyn Batman were next on stage. Both artists are a part of Riff Raff's UVP Tour that has been making its way across the country for the last couple of months.
Riff Raff hit the stage around 9:30 pm and immediately got into some of his top songs like Million Dollar Mullet, How That Make You Feel, and Moncler Jacket. The crowd participation was building up to a pretty good level as he segued from Top Toe into Gallon of Ciroc.
It didn't take long for Riff Raff, otherwise known as Jody Highroller, to drop Mossy Oak and Dolce & Gabbana. The crowd of a few hundred people mashed the stage and was whipped into a mini-frenzy.
Overall this was a pretty good show and everything was pretty much wrapped up around 11 pm, which was good news for a Sunday night.
All of the artists hung around the venue once this how was over and interacted with the crowd. Riff Raff was no different as he held a meet and greet backstage and plenty of people stuck around.
