$5,000 Reward For Info About Shooting Of 6 People In Rochester
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive has put up a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible for shooting six people in Rochester.

The six people were shot in Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Park at Manhattan Square, located at 353 Court Street in Rochester, New York. Police say an argument sparked the shooting around 2:45 am on Sunday, June 23, 2024. None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries. Rochester Police Chief David Smith says that there was at least one suspect who shot into a crowd that was gathered at the park, which is open from noon to 8:50 pm on Saturdays and noon to 7 pm on Sundays.

The year-round park has been the busy home to a wide range of visitors from families from throughout the region to downtown workers on their lunch breaks."

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has stepped up to offer a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) who are responsible for the shooting. Law enforcement needs the community to provide information to help solve the case. The reward may be greater than $5,000, as the Rochester Police Department, CrimeStoppers, and others are offering a reward.
