Protesters ‘Pull Up’ on Mayor Brown at His Home [Video]

Police reform protesters 'pulled up' at Mayor Byron Brown's home yesterday.

On Wednesday (June 24), around 8 pm, protesters marched to Buffalo Mayor, Byron Brown's house, according to WGRZ. Police escorted the Mayor away from his home and the protesters.

According to WGRZ a reporter, who was on the scene, the protesters, who started at Niagara Square and ended at the Mayor's home, remained peaceful.

The protesters appeared to be demanding the release of Deyanna Davis, who struck several officers with her SUV at protests on Bailey Ave. on June 1. They were also protesting the arrests of 13 protesters in Niagara Square, the night before (June 23), according to WGRZ.

WGRZ says Black Love Resists in the Rust was the group in Niagara Square.  The group planned to occupy the Square until Deyanna is released from jail.  They had been there for approximately two weeks, since June 12.  Deyanna, who has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault, is being held in the Erie County Holding Center.  State Assembly Majority Leader Crystal Peoples-Stokes is also demanding that Deyanna be released:

“In my conversations with it was either the police commissioner or mayor, maybe both, even a person who doesn’t have a police background can see that was just what it was an accident.
