New Nightlife Location Coming To Downtown Buffalo, New York
The nightlife scene in Buffalo and Western New York has been suffering quite a bit lately. The last few months have seen the 716 lose several spots that people really enjoyed hanging at night after night.
From massive fights in strip clubs to the closure of historic music venues, Buffalo is not the same party city that it once was. There was a time when Buffalo was a key destination for folks looking to party, especially when you consider that Western New York has one of the latest last-call times in the nation. It's no wonder people still talk about some of the great clubs we had in the 716.

However, according to Buffalo Business First, there is a new night spot coming downtown that many are hoping will breathe some energy to the scene along Chippewa and the surrounding area.
Get Ready For The Oakk Haus In Downtown Buffalo
The corner of Pearl Street and West Chippewa has a new nightspot on the way, and it's being led by two experienced entrepreneurs and restauranteurs. The Oakk Haus, which is set to open at 416 Pearl Street in March, will take over the location that Señor Tequila once occupied.
Curtis McCutcheon and Dennis Wilson Jr. have successfully owned and operated The Oakk Room at 1435 Main Street for nearly 15 years and are now looking to make a name for themselves downtown. Wilson, who also is a very prominent party and event promoter, and his business partner McCutcheon look to take the 7,200-square-foot location and bring a fun lounge and nightclub vibe to the space.
If things go according to plan, the Oakk Haus will open its doors in March 2025.
