New York State Troopers Arrest 3 WNY People For Forgery, DWI, And Drugs
New York State Police have been busy in Western New York. In the past few days, troopers have arrested three people in separate incidents. The alleged crimes include forgery, DWI, and drugs.
New York State Police Arrest Jamestown Woman For Drugs
The 60-year-old woman, Phillis Jackson, was arrested by New York State Troopers out of the Jamestown headquarters on March 18th, 2022. Police pull her vehicle over on East 2nd Street in Jamestown. Troopers conducted a search of her vehicle and found a Clonazapam pill. Jackson did not have a prescription for the controlled substance. She was give a ticket and arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Possession of Controlled Substances by Ultimate Users Original Container. After being processed she was released and is due back in a Jamestown court in April.
Fredonia Woman Arrested By NY State Police For Forgery
Jamestown State Police arrested 25-year-old Fredonia resident Tyisha Kaiser for trying to cash a stolen check. The incident took place on March 19th, 2022. Kaiser tried to cash the check, which was taken from a home in Farmersville in 2021, at a bank in Jamestown. She was informed by the teller that the account had been closed. Kaiser walked out of the bank, leaving her identification and the check with the teller. She was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree. She is due back in court in Jamestown this month.
West Seneca Man Arrested By NYS Troopers For DWI
A West Seneca man, 24-year-old Hunter D. Kennedy, was arrested by New York State Troopers out of Elma, on March 19, 2022. Kennedy was allegedly speeding on Transit Road in Elma. When officers pulled him over just before midnight he was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He had a BAC of .22 percent. He was arrested on charges of aggravated DWI and speeding. He will be back in an Elma court on March 31.
