NY Representative Quotes Biggie in Trump Impeachment Hearing
I bet the Notorious B.I.G. would be proud to know his lyrics were used in a Trump impeachment hearing!
U.S. Representative Hakeem Jeffries, who is a Democrat from New York, used a classic Biggie Smalls lyric on the Senate Floor during a hearing for the Trump impeachment. Jeffries, who is from Brooklyn also, responded to Trump's lawyer Jay Sekulow with a piece of Big's classic song 'Juicy.' According to The Daily Beast, Jeffries said:
“We are here, sir, to follow the facts, apply the law, be guided by the Constitution, and present the truth to the American people. That is why we are here, Mr. Sekulow, and if you don’t know, now you know.���
