Police Tackle Crime With 28 Arrests In Niagara County

Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting people accused of crimes. Niagara County comprises several cities, towns, and villages, including the City of Lockport, the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Lewiston, the Town of Lockport, the Town of Wheatfield, and the Village of Youngstown.

Two Niagara county men have been charged with murder and conspiracy in connection to a 2024 shooting in Niagara Falls. Marvin E. Porter, 37, and 23-year-old Rojae J. Mitchell, are facing first and second-degree murder charges, and second-degree conspiracy charges, according to the Niagara County District Attorney's Office. According to WGRZ, the two males allegedly conspired to kill Anthony Brantley. They killed Anthony on August 24, 2024.
