Niagara County Police Report 29 Arrests This Past Week

Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting people accused of crimes. Niagara County comprises several cities, towns, and villages, including the City of Lockport, the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Lewiston, the Town of Lockport, the Town of Wheatfield, and the Village of Youngstown.

Niagara County Is Limiting ICE Access In Its Jail

Niagara County is majorly shaking up its immigration policy. The Niagara County Sheriff made a major announcement that may disrupt Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE agents in Niagara Falls will face new challenges in their attempts to round up undocumented immigrants. As of January 16, 2026, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office will no longer allow ICE agents to use its jail to hold certain illegal immigrants. You can rea more about it here.
