Today, sources report that the NFL has officially suspended Tom Brady for 4 games in the upcoming NFL season without pay. They have also fined the Patriots $1 Million.

"Deflate-Gate" is the second cheating scandal that Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots have been a center of and this one will not go unpunished.

ESPN reports that in addition to losing a first round pick for both the 2016 & a 4th round pick in the 2017 season, the New England Patriots have been fined $1 Million. The NFL also came down on Tom Brady, the leader of the team, suspending him for 4 games without pay.

"With respect to your particular involvement, the report established that there is substantial and credible evidence to conclude you were at least generally aware of the actions of the Patriots' employees involved in the deflation of the footballs and that it was unlikely that their actions were done without your knowledge," NFL executive vice president Troy Vincent wrote in a letter to Brady.

Thankfully, Brady will be out when the Bills play the Patriots week 2. You have to wonder whether the NFL will come down on head coach Bill Bellichick and others involved. Details began to surface that the idea came from two locker room officials who should also be punished.
