More Ice Cream Bars Recalled In New York Due To Health Threat
I guess New Yorkers are not meant to cool down this summer with Ice Cream. There is yet another recall of ice cream bars that pose a health threat to certain New Yorkers. According to the Food and Drug Administration, Tropicale Foods of Ontario, California, is recalling Helados Mexico and La Michoacana products. The ice cream bars contain milk, a known allergen, which is not listed on the packaging.
"Though these products include cream in the product ingredient lists, the common name milk is not declared. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products."
