There's a massive recall going on that affects consumers in New York State. Rosina Food Products, Inc., which is located in West Seneca, has issued a recall of approximately 9,462 pounds of ready-to-eat frozen meatball products, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

Urgent Oyster Recall Hits New Yorkers, Check Your Fridge Now

New Yorkers who have recently purchased oysters need to check them as soon as possible. Oysters harvested from British Columbia, Canada harvest area BC 17-20 (Nanoose Bay) CLF #1401656 are being recalled due to posing a health threat. The meatballs that are at the center of the recall are:

32-oz. printed poly film bag packages of fully cooked frozen “Bremer FAMILY SIZE ITALIAN STYLE MEATBALLS” containing “about 64 meatballs per package” with “BEST BY” date of “10/30/26” with timestamps between 17:08 through 18:20 printed on the back of the label.

They have a super long shelf life of 15 months. These meatballs were sold in ALDI stores in New York State and nationwide, and they have the establishment number “EST. 4286B” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The meatballs have possibly been contaminated with foreign materials, specifically metal. If you purchased this product, please do not consume it. Return to the store of purchase for a refund or toss it in the garbage.
