There are some things that we do as Bills fans.  But the question is, do people have the right to question how big of a fan you are if you don't do them?

I was born and raised a Bills fan.  I've been following the team since I was old enough to play football.  So to me, it's like a knee-jerk reaction when someone says "Go Bills" I just say it back (Normally with a little more enthusiasm than I should).

It's even better when you're not in Buffalo or Western New York.  When you find another Bills fan in another city and you say "Go Bills" and they respond with a resounding "Go Bills" it just makes you feel good!  It's like a special handshake or that wave that people on motorcycles do.  You immediately ensure your place in an exclusive club.

So...what happens when you say "Go Bills" and they don't respond with a "Go Bills!" like they should?

Some Bills fans say you need to just get over it.

I get it.  She's right.  No one owes you anything.  Maybe they're having a bad day, or they didn't hear you. Maybe they're just shy but still love the Bills.

I don't think they're less of a fan.  And it doesn't matter what I think anyway.  I'm not going to judge.  There are a lot of things that Bills fans do that I'm not necessarily on board with.  Just because I choose not to jump through a table, doesn't mean I'm less of a fan that chooses to.  I just want to be able to get out of bed on a Monday morning.

But it does feel at least a little rude.

I mean, when you say hello to someone, they don't owe you a hello back, but it feels kind of rude when you're extending pleasantries to someone and they just blow it off doesn't it?

What do you think?  When you say "Go Bills!" to someone, should they say it back?
