As we all know, it has been a real struggle for the restaurant industry, due to restrictions, so much, that many local restaurant owners have entered into lawsuits over closing times. Applications are available now and, restaurant owners will be able to apply through February 17th. Businesses that are selected will be notified by March 1.

According to WGRZ,  for businesses to be eligible, you must be in Erie County and have three locations or fewer currently operating, employ 50 people or less, and had 3 million or less in 2019 annual revenue per store. The distribution will begin sometime in March, all restaurants selected to receive a grant will get it by May.

For more than a year, restaurants have been forced to adapt, pivot, and reinvent themselves as New York battles this deadly pandemic. These grants will help them weather this storm so that they can be there for our communities when it's safe to fully reopen.
