Buffalo sports fans were rejoicing left and right a few weeks ago when a Western New York fan favorite made his way back to the 716. Micah Hyde's return to the Buffalo Bills made big news all over the 716 and the sports world after the two split ways after the end of the 2023/24 NFL Season.

In early December 2024, the Bills resigned Hyde to the team's practice squad in a move that was designed to help add some additional depth for the team in the secondary, along with giving some more all-pro leadership to the team as it made its push into the playoffs.

One Bills Drive lost some serious leadership at the end of the last season when Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Tre’Davious White, Mitch Morse, Stefon Diggs, and others left Buffalo for what many of them thought was greener pastures. This, of course, we know wasn't true for everyone, which Hyde recognized, and you know Buffalo welcomed him back with open arms.

With Hyde's return to Buffalo, that also means that something else is guaranteed to come back this spring as well.

Back for its fifth year, the Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game is set to happen this spring, on Sunday, May 5, 2025, at Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo.

The softball game features the Bills' Offense vs. the Bills' Defense and is held annually to benefit the Western New York community and Hyde's charity Imagine for Youth. The game routinely sells out, drawing more than 16,000 fans to the home of the Buffalo Bisons, and results in thousands of dollars being raised for charity. For example, the 2023 game raised nearly $500,000 for the community.

Tickets to the game are just $35 each and are set to go on sale on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. If you plan to attend the game, make sure you get your tickets quickly because this game sells out every single year.
