Micah Hyde’s Charity Softball Game Is Back In Buffalo
There are very few things that people in Western New York find more exciting than Buffalo Bills Football.
Whether it's the actual games or tailgating, consuming everything Bills during the off-season, or keeping up with the personal lives of our favorite players, Buffalo is a football city with a drinking problem.
One of the very few things we love more than our Buffalo Bills when they are playing football is when our Buffalo Bills are playing softball for charity and the Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game is back for its third year at Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo.
What Is Micah Hyde's Charity Softball Game?
Starting in 2019 by Buffalo Bills star Micah Hyde, the softball game was created to help support the IMagINe for Youth Foundation was founded by Hyde and his wife Amanda in 2015.
In a perfect world, all children would be able to live healthy, active and educated lives. Unfortunately, there are many reasons why this may not be the case, but with your help we will work together to change this.

The IMagINe for Youth Foundation's goal is to help kids who are financially disadvantaged thrive on the athletic field and in the classroom academically by giving them support with supplies, resources, and various equipment they need.
The annual softball game, which includes various celebrities from around Buffalo and Western New York, and features several Buffalo Bills playing against each other, began in 2019 and had to take a hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic for 2020 and 2021.
The game, which also features a Home Run Derby, resumed in 2022 and resulted in $200,000 being raised to support the foundation.
When Is The Next Micah Hyde's Charity Softball Game Scheduled?
The next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2023, and will be played at the home of the Buffalo Bisons, Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo.
There's going to be a pre-game tailgate in the Sahlen Field Plaza starting at 9 am with drinks, music, food, a kid's zone, and more. Gates to Sahlen Field open at 10:30 am for the game and will again feature a Home Run Derby, along with other events, and then the game between the Bills Offsense and the Bills Defense.
Tickets were on sale starting at $23, but according to the Sahlen Field ticket website, the game is officially sold out. Late last week, Micah Hyde released some additional tickets but those also sold out pretty quickly.
This should be another exciting game, especially with more than 16,000 screaming football softball fans in the stands.
You can find out more Infomation about the game here on the Buffalo Bisons website.
