A New York State man has been added to the United State Marshal's top 15 most wanted list of fugitives for the murder of a child. The accused baby killer is currently the only New Yorker on the list. He is considered dangerous and is likely traveling with his husband, Neil Garzon.

Anthony Ojeda, aka Erik Jonathan Donas-Ojeda has been added to the U.S. Marshal's 15 Most Wanted Fugitives List

Odeja, who is 40-years-old, allegedly killed a 6-week-old baby. On Dec. 3, 2019, Cohoes Police Department in New York responded to his residence after being called to help an unresponsive baby, Eli Ojeda. The infant died at the hospital. An autopsy revealed he died of acute methamphetamine toxicity and physical trauma.

The suspect claimed to be the baby's father. He was charged with second-degree murder. Odeja's husband was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and hindering prosecution. Odeja was due back in court on August 24, 2021, but was a no-show. It was determined that he and his husband fled the area, assisted by family and other associates.

Ronald L. Davis, Director of the U.S. Marshals Service said that they are determined to get justice for the child,

The U.S. Marshals will bring every necessary resource to bear to see that Anthony Ojeda answers the charges regarding baby Eli’s death. Our sincere hope is that someone with relevant information will do the right thing and tell law enforcement where Ojeda is hiding, so we can arrest him safely and bring some closure to this community. Justice must be served.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered For information leading to Odeja's arrest.
