Man Throws Wife A ‘Death Party’ Then Gets 3 Years In Prison

This Minnesota man threw his wife a drug-fueled “death party.”

Duane Arden Johnson, 59, told investigators that his wife, Debra Lynn Johnson, 69, begged him to take her home inside of the nursing facility she was in to let her die, the paper reported. in January and they held a “death party” that included taking methamphetamine.

According to the police report. A naked Johnson ran outside, yelled that his wife was dead and then hurried back into the home, Police later found him in a bathtub, where he said he was trying to cleanse little white and black “things” from his skin. They also found 47 guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.

He has been sentenced to three years behind bars after copping to a plea deal.

An autopsy found that she died of methamphetamine toxicity.
