You get Listeria, you get Listeria, everybody gets Listeria! Or at least that's the way it seems. Another brand is recalling its ready-to-eat meals due to the threat of Listeria. Maybe Listeria is the new, cool, hip thing to get, like nose rings in the '90s.
There have been three major food recalls in recent months due to Listeria that have affected New York families. The mushrooms were distributed to retail stores and distributors in the New York City area. The clear plastic packages are marked with code GGN: 4063061794758 on the back label. There was a major recall of ready-to-eat pasta sold at Trader Joe's and Walmart stores due to potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes. Also, Western United Fish Company, doing business as Annasea Foods Group of Kent, Washington, issued a recall for its Kirkland Signature brand Ahi Tuna Wasabi Poke, due to possible Listeria contamination. The green onions used in the product are potentially contaminated with Listeria. You can get more details on each of those three food recalls here.
