We all have our wishlist when it comes to buying a new home.  Location, school district, style, number of bedrooms, a garage, and maybe a pool are all things that come to mind.  And sometimes, the size of the home comes into play.

According to the website Movoto.com, the average size of a home in Erie county is 1,387 Square Feet in the year 2022.  But there is one home currently for sale in Western New York that is more than triple the average home size.

This behemoth of a home is located at 2545 Upper Mountain Road, in the village of Sanborn, about 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, and is being offered by Karen Baker Levin of Howard Hannah.

According to Zillow, the massive French Country Manor style home built in 2010, is surrounded by 10.2 acres of land and offers stunning views of the surrounding area.  The house contains a sweeping staircase in the grand foyer, a formal dining room, a library with lots of rich mahogany, and many leather-bound books (insert Ron Burgundy reference here...).  The great room features one of the home's two fireplaces.  And yes, this massive house even has its own pizza oven in the kitchen!

With 5 bedrooms, including an enormous 25'x15' Master Bedroom, 6 bathrooms, and 7,837 square feet of space, this house should have plenty of space for a family of any size, and then some.

Some other features of note: An in-law suite with its own sitting room, wine room, verandas, limestone floors, Venetian plaster finishes, and yes even an elevator.

All of this could be yours if you are willing to meet the current asking price of $2.5 million dollars.
