Kendrick Lamar Crowned King Of Rap By GQ Magazine
Nicki Minaj may not approve, but according to GQ Magazine, Kendrick Lamar is the "King Of Rap". And rap never looked so classy! Check out his cover shot and remarks about Drake inside.
This "Man Of The Year" December Issue of GQ Magazine is set to hit shelves this week.
In the cover story, Kendrick is asked about his lyrical competitor Drake and whether or not they are friends despite the recent shots fired. Kendrick says that they’re “pretty cool,” but adds, “I mean, I would be OK if we weren’t… If anything. We all peers.”
Well I guess Kendrick wasn't lying in his "Control" verse when he said :
I'm usually homeboys with the same niggas I'm rhymin' with
But this is hip-hop and them niggas should know what time it is
And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale
Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake
Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller
I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas
Trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas
He certainly didn't make nice with Nicki Minaj by failing to mention her name.
