Join Us for the 'Mammograms, Mocktails & More' Event

You and your 'breast friend' are invited to join us for the Mammograms, Mocktails & More event! On Saturday, September 21, Yasmin Young will be on-site for the free-to-attend #GetScreened event! It will be held in the parking lot of the Northland Workforce Training Center, located at 683 Northland Avenue in Buffalo. The Windsong Mobile Mammography will be on-hand to provide mammograms. If you are a woman age 40 or older, you can reserve your appointment today by calling 716.929.9494. You will need to bring proper ID. Walk-ins are also welcome. There will be free mocktails, food, hand massages, a photo booth, rock painting, giveaways and more! Also, you will be able to walk through an inflatable colon to learn about colon health!

The #GetScreened event includes the following screenings:

- Colon cancer screening options (In-home “FIT Kit” will be available*)
- PAP tests for cervical cancer
- Mammograms for breast cancer
- Oral cancer
- Lung cancer
- Prostate cancer

*"The “FIT Kit” is covered in full by most major health insurance plans for those with insurance and offered without cost for people who are uninsured," according to the ECCSP press release about the event.
