Jaden Smith Providing Fresh Water To The Residents Of Flint Michigan

Jaden Smith, the son of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith is using his foundation JUST Goods to bring fresh water to the people of Flint, Michigan.  The foundation is working with The First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church to deploy a mobile water filtration system known as “The Water Box”. This filtration system will help reduce lead and other contaminants in the city’s water.

The church has already distributed over 5 million bottles of water to residents but water donations are not as frequent as they once were. Flint has been struggling with the issue of lead contaminated water since 2014 when the city tapped into the Flint River for its water supply and lead began leaching through the pipes.  They have been slowly repairing and replacing the bad piping  and water lines.
