New York Lottery Announces “Big Money” Mega Millions Winners

One of the largest jackpots in Lottery history was up for grabs as the Mega Millions jackpot reached 1.05 billion dollars.

That jackpot was the 4th largest in lottery history and it is going to get bigger.

The good news is that one lucky ticket sold in New York is worth $1 million dollars. That ticket sold in New York matched all 5 of the numbers but missed out on the Mega Ball. The ticket in New York was one of six second-place winning tickets that were worth at least $1 million dollars.

According to the New York Lottery, there were 10 "Big Money" winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets are worth at least $10,000 dollars or more. Besides the single ticket that won $1 million dollars, nine other tickets matched at least four numbers and the Mega Ball and they are worth $10,000 dollars each.

You may want to double-check your ticket as the New York Lottery also announced that there were 208 tickets sold in New York that matched four numbers and won $500 dollars and there were 568 tickets sold that matched three numbers and the Mega Ball and won $200 dollars.
