Several Winning Mega Millions Tickets Sold In New York

Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing didn't produce a grand prize winner in New York, but there were plenty of other winners across the state.

Mega Millions Winners In New York State

The New York State Lottery announced that there were 21 4th-place winning tickets sold in New York from last night's Mega Millions drawings.

Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Mega Ball. 10 of those tickets won $1000, another 10 won $1500, and the final winning ticket won $2000. The winning amount was based on the ticket's built-in Megaplier.

There were also 59 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. These tickets matched three out of five numbers and had the Mega Ball number. These tickets won between $400 and $2000 based on the ticket's built-in Megaplier.

Tuesday's Mega Millions Numbers

Here were the winning numbers from last night's Mega Millions drawing: 7-12-30-40-69 with a Mega Ball number of 17.

Did Anyone Win The Mega Millions Grand Prize Jackpot?

There was no grand prize winning ticket sold from last night's Mega Millions drawing. There were two 2nd place tickets that each won "Big Money". One ticket in Mississippi won $2 million dollars while the other ticket was sold in Florida and won $3 million dollars.

The Mega Millions is drawn every Tuesday and Friday Night at 11 pm. Tickets are $5 each and come with a built-in Megaplier that increases the ticket's winning prize amount.

The Megaplier can double, triple, quadruple, or increase the winning prize amount by 5 or 10 times.

Since no one claimed the grand prize last night, the jackpot for Friday's drawing is now up to $277 million dollars.
