Our break from Sub-zero wind chills in Western New York will be over very soon. After a week where we saw our high temperatures soar to above 20 degrees, they are ready to bottom out again this weekend.
Another arctic blast is heading our way this weekend, which will drop our high temperatures into single digits with wind chills well below zero.
Arctic Blast Coming To Western New York This Weekend
Temperatures and wind chills are set take a sharp drop this weekend across Western New York. We are going to see a drop of around 20 degrees from Friday's high temperature to Saturday's high temperature.
Frost Bite Possible This Weekend In Western New York
With the severe drop in temperatures and wind chills in the negatives, the chance of frostbite is possible if you spend any time outdoors.

Here are some symptoms of frostbite you should be aware of heading into this weekend.
Numbness.
Tingling sensations.
Skin discoloration in shades of red, white, blue, gray, purple, or brown.
Cold, hard, or waxy-looking skin.
Stiff joints or clumsiness.
Pain or burning sensations.
Blistering after rewarming.
So remember to bundle up and be aware if you are going to be outdoors.
