This week 3 very popular restaurants announced that they were closing their doors in Western New York. It is very sad to see small businesses close, but all three closed for a couple of different reasons.

Mooney's Sports Bar & Grill in West Seneca, Louie's in Tonawanda and Flourish Cafe in Lancaster all took to Facebook to announce the closures. You can see all of them below.

Mooney's said that they were closing after taking over for the legendary Tony Rome's for 8 years. Flourish Cafe owners said that they are selling the equipment of their business and will be downsizing and Louie's Foot Long said that they will be retiring and closing up for good.

Louie's has been in business for so long and this is one that locals in Tonawanda are not going to want to see go. They have been in business FOREVER, but the owner, who had decided to retire years ago, said that he decided he wants to sell the property and the building.

The owner on Facebook said she will still be baking to some degree. The post says that it is a "Turn key business in a leased storefront with a very accommodating landlord. 4 years of well established foot traffic and very loyal customers that are looking for someone to take this gem over. Price is for equipment and items in the shop and does NOT include branding, logos, or recipes. Please do not waste either of our time unless you are seriously interested. More details upon request"
