Beware This Famous Western New York Cereal?

There are reports that a cereal that is produced in Western New York may contain various pesticides. If you ever walk through downtown Buffalo, there is a good chance that you will smell the General Mills plant in action.

A new report that was filed by CBS indicated that there is the potential that the ingredients in cereals like Cheerios and others could have traces of chemicals that at this point have NOT been found to have a health affect on humans.

Further, chlormequat was found in 92% of non-organic oat-based foods tested in May 2023, including Quaker Oats and Cheerios, according to the research published Thursday in the Journal of Exposure Science and Environmental Epidemiology.

Recently, there was a story about random notes being found in cereal boxes in parts of Pennsylvania.

Lucky Charms cereal are boxed and shipped from a few locations in the United States and one of them is in New York State at a plant in Buffalo. It is unclear where this particular box was packaged.

However, regardless of where the cereal was made, the story is intriguing. The person called investigators after he discovered the note inside and a news outlet has also started to investigate.
