New York State is having a lot of bad cases of poisoned weed on the streets. Now that it is being regulated in New York State, there are so many stores that sell weed, but so many people try to take a cheaper option and still buy it the old-fashioned way.

There are a couple of big problems that are happening in New York State with weed: with bad THC levels or bad additives in the weed.

Synthetic cannabinoids, like K2,  It was a very popular thing that bad people were putting in the weed. It was a cheaper way to make the weed, and it was poisoning people and putting them in the hospital.

I feel like it's important to know that there are really no cases of fentanyl ever being in weed in New York State.

The other problem that New York State has become aware of is high THC products derived from hemp.

NEXT: New York State made a big problem when it came to enforcing the law of how close a dispensary in New York State can be to schools. New York state was measuring door to door when, in reality, the law states that it has to be from the dispensary door to the property line of the school; therefore, hundreds of dispensaries in New York State are not in compliance.

As of this past week, New York State has allowed a temporary order for the dispensaries to stay. Dispensaries have been in contact with the New York State Operations team.
