Venzella Joy Talks Debut Role in Pitch Perfect 3, Touring & More

Artist and acclaimed drummer to Beyonce, Venzella Joy adds acting to her list of incredible talents as she makes her debut in the new Universal Studios film, Pitch Perfect 3 slated to hit theaters on Friday December 22, 2017. The edgy musician and producer graced the red carpet last Tuesday at the Hollywood film premier and tells reporters she was pleased to had been sought after for her role in the film which is anticipated to be a crowd favorite like previous Pitch Perfect movies.

Joy’s film debut places her in the role of Charity, the cute but quiet member of the band Ever Moist with lead singer Calamity, played by actress Ruby Rose (Orange is the New Black). Charity is a rival band member to acapella ensemble The Bellas, but don’t be fooled by her pretty smile. Charity, much like Joy, showcases electrifying performances that bring crowds to their feet.

Pitch Perfect 3 is in theaters everywhere tomorrow, December 22nd!
