According to the Buffalo News; the trend relative to "Christmas Season Jobs" being temporary is changing!  That's great news for anyone looking for full-time work because employers are actually looking to keep people beyond the Holidays this year...according to the Buffalo News.

According to an article in the Buffalo News, Toys R Us announced last week that they'll hire some 45,000 extra workers this Holiday Season...with 15% of their hired help last year staying with the company after the Holidays.  Target announced the same, saying they kept 30% of their Holiday workers.  Additionally...according to the article...43% of ALL RETAILERS surveyed said they plan on having more Holiday workers remain beyond the season.

Among the other retailers who say they'll be hiring for the Holiday Season (according to the article in the Buffalo News) are: Pier 1 Imports says it will hire 10-15 Holiday Staff for each of their 1058 stores, Kohl's will be hiring for specialized positions with certain physical requirements and has begun hiring already, Target says they'll hire during the Holiday Season and will continue to hire in December.
