Popular Sunflower Field Plans Reopening Date In Western New York

Six acres of sunflowers sounds like a great way to make sure you start your weekend on the sunny side.

But with the more sunshine we have in the coming weeks, the more likely that the sunflowers at Hoelscher’s Sunflower Field will open up – just in time for Hoelscher’s to reopen for the season.

Ideally, Hoelscher’s Sunflower Field would like to reopen on Monday, August 1. They have six acres of sunflowers and sweet corn in the middle, with paths made -- waiting for you to walk through and enjoy.

Plenty of us explored the newly opened Hoelscher's Sunflower Field, located 4463 North Boston Road, Eden, NY, and we have been waiting for it to reopen for the season.

If you are looking for a place to have fun outdoors, whether with a family, a friend, or your significant other, you could walk through the locally-owned sunflower field at Hoelscher’s and take some pictures and photo sessions (which are always welcome). Last year, Hoelscher's Sunflower Field will have picture frames available for anyone that can take up into the field and use, but they always asked you to kindly bring the frames back to the designated table when done.

This sunflower field in Eden is a great place for families to come and spend time together as they walk through the gorgeous sunflowers. You can even take part of the sunflower field home with you! Sunflowers are only one dollar per stem, and Hoelscher's will even provide scissors for you to select a sunflower for yourself.

Donations are appreciated at Hoelscher’s Sunflower Field but are not expected, and Hoelscher's Sunflower Field is always open to suggestions for how they can improve the experience.

If you can’t make it out to Eden on opening day, Hoelscher's Sunflower Field is typically open seven days a week from 9am-8pm, but if it is rainy, the sunflower field will have to close for the day.
