This City In New York State Is Among Top 10 Places With Highest STD Rates
One thing we know for sure is that humans spread diseases pretty quickly and efficiently. We've seen it recently with COVID-19 and even Monkeypox. When it comes to sexually transmitted diseases, there are some cities where these infections spread at a faster pace than other cities. One of the top 10 cities with the highest STD rates is right here in New York State.
According to Planned Parenthood,
STDs are infections that are spread from one person to another, usually during vaginal, anal, and oral sex. They’re really common, and lots of people who have them don’t have any symptoms. Without treatment, STDs can lead to serious health problems.

Which City In New York Has One Of The Highest STD Rates In America?
The most-populated city in the United States, New York City, is the only place in New York State that made the top 10. But I guess the good news here, if there is any, is that while it's the most populated city, it didn't land at the top of the list.

The city that took home the honor of being number one is Jackson, Mississippi.
