Health Code Violations In Albany County Last Month

Every month Albany County releases a list of restaurants that didn't pass their health inspections. These restaurants can fail for a variety of offenses, including things like "Food not protected during storage, preparation, display, transportation and service, from potential sources of contamination (e.g., food uncovered, mislabeled, stored on floor, missing or inadequate sneeze guards, food containers double stacked)" or even critical violations such as "Potentially hazardous foods are not kept at or below 45°F during cold holding, except smoked fish not kept at or below 38°F during cold holding."

I've seen some restaurants that are truly repeat offenders; they make the list every month! It's scary because these are places you and your family are eating. Food poisoning is no joke. I've had it once or twice. That's why I want to connect you with restaurants in Albany County that are safe! While it is important to know which restaurants failed their health code inspection in November, we also need to support those that passed with flying colors.

I do think it's worth mentioning that only 11 spots (including non-restaurants) out of all those subjected to inspections in November received passing grades. Meanwhile, 31 restaurants (almost 3 times) had violations of some sort. The restaurants below deserve to be patronized due to their concern for our families' health and safety!
