Half of the People in Erie County Infected with COVID-19 End up in ICU

The odds are not looking good!  Half of the people infected with COVID-19 in Erie County will end up in the intensive care unit.

According to a tweet by Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, half of the people infected here in Erie County will end up spending time in the ICU.  He also stated that 90% of the people who end up in ICU will need airway assistance.
