They're HUUUUUUGGGEEEE.  You remember all the commercials.

Billy Fuccillo was a big person in every sense of the word.  He was a former football player at Syracuse University.  Physically, he was big.  But I'll always remember him as having a big heart also.  There are countless stories of him quietly paying the bill for large groups of people who were out to dinner to celebrate birthdays and charities that he would donate to.  He was always very nice to me too.  Every time I had an interaction with the man, it was a friendly one.

He had three dealerships on Grand Island that he was very proud of.  The first was a Chevrolet dealership.  That was built in 2002 at 2000 Alvin Road.  The next was the Toyota Dealership at 1974 Alvin Road that was built just a couple years later in 2004.  Finally he added a Hyundai dealership right next to those two at 1910 Alvin Road in 2007.

Sadly, Billy Fuccillo passed away in 2021 at the age of 64.

Now, according to Buffalo Business First, those three dealerships and an empty parcel of land have been purchased by an Ithaca based auto group called The Maguire Family of Dealerships in a  $14 million deal ($8 million for Chevrolet, $2 million for Toyota, $3 million for Hyundai, and $1 million for the empty parcel of land).

This will make a total of 15 dealerships that operate under the Maguire Family of Dealerships.
