The Willie Hutch Jones Educational And Sports Programs is offering free summer programs for youth. There are a variety of programs available for young people ages 6 to 16-years-old. The programs are open to male and female youth who are residents of Buffalo and Lackawanna. All participants must be pre-registered - no walks ups will be accepted.

Programs include:

Softball - July 11 – August 12

Daily registration at 9:30 am. Training starts at 10 am until noon at McCarthy Park. Equipment maintenance, vocabulary, fundamental skills & drill, how to score and job opportunities that are related to the field will be covered.

Soccer - July 11 – August 5

Daily registration at 9:30 am. Training starts at 10 am until noon at McCarthy Park. Students will be taught basic skills, strategies, rules and conventions, and participate safely with appropriate personal, social behavior, and job opportunities that are related to the field of soccer. Campers will compete in a competitive afternoon summer league in which awards will be given out to playoff teams!
