On Wednesday (May 20), there will be free personal protective equipment giveaway.

The We Are Women Warriors Organization, which was founded by Betty Jean Grant, a former Erie County Legislator, along with Fillmore District Council Member Mitch Nowakowski and Erie County Legislator (District 1) Howard Johnson will be giving away the protective gear, according to a press release emailed to me. The PPE giveaway will be from from 1 pm to pm on Wednesday, May 20. The location will be in front of Grant's Variety Shoppe, located at 1055 East Ferry Street in Buffalo.

"She [Betty Jean Grant] is presently focused upon the East Ferry-Moselle Street area. The neighborhood also shares 2 zip codes: 14211 and 14215, both of which have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 infection.
