Many families here in Buffalo are suffering from the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic and need help with putting food on the table. On Tuesday, Mayor Byron Brown announced that there will be two food distribution events to help families in need, according to WGRZ. On Friday, May 1st, families can get free groceries at the Belle Center, located at 104 Maryland Street in Buffalo, from 9 am to 1 pm.

The second grocery distribution event will be at the Northland Workforce Training Center, which is partnering with Independent Health, to help families. That event will take place at Northland, which is located at 683 Northland Avenue from 10 am to noon on Friday, May 8th.
