Free Events going on in Buffalo
Everybody likes free stuff so here is some things that you could do for free in Buffalo.
New Mountain Bike Course. Mark your calendars! Construction crews are working to create a new, free mountain bike course located at the Outer Harbor on Buffalo's Waterfront. It will feature both an adult and kids course. In addition, there will be a food truck area and great lawn. It is hoped to be open later this month by Memorial Day.
Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival. On Saturday May 4th and Sunday May 5th, the Buffalo History Museum is hosting the annual Buffalo Cherry Blossom Festival in the Japanese Gardens. It is the first festival of the year for Buffalo. The free event will include music, dancers, vendors and 'pink boat rides.'

Free movies and TV shows. For those days when weather keeps you inside, the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library is reminding everyone that it has a collection of more than 420,000 DVDs, bluray discs and books on CD. All can be taken out for free with a library card. New titles are constantly being added to meet demand - and the library has some of the newest releases, including TV series that are still on the air.
You can use the library's online to system to see what is available.
