Freddie Gibbs is Coming to Buffalo

Indiana-based rapper Freddie Gibbs is on his way to Buffalo and is bringing his Space Rabbit Tour with him.

Gibbs, born Fredrick Jamel Tipton in Gary, Indiana, is kicking off a national tour that will take him thru 22 cities by the time it's all done. Buffalo is the 13th stop on the tour which has him crisscrossing the country.

The tour arrives in Buffalo at the Town Ballroom on Saturday, May 14, 2022, with the doors scheduled to open at 7 p.m. Presented by After Dark Events, Gibbs will also have MIKE & redveil with him for the age 16 and over show. Tickets are $20 and on sale now; they can be grabbed at the Town Ballroom ticket office or online via Etix here. Government-issued ID is required to enter the Town Ballroom.

Gibbs being among the hottest rappers in the game right now is sure to drop some hits from his 5 studio albums, including his Grammy Nominated album Alfredo which he dropped in 2020. That project saw Gibbs team up with The Alchemist and was considered one of the rap best albums of 2020. Alfredo debuted on the Billboard charts at number 15, which makes it the highest-charting record in his career.

This concert is sure to be interesting considering the building rap beef that Gibbs has with Buffalo-born rapper Benny the Butcher. I'll be there to see if Gibbs says antyhing slick and I'll be looking forward to see what comes of it.
